The Fair Housing Act
The Fair Housing Act (Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, as amended) prohibits discrimination in the sale, rental, and financing of housing based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, and disability. Texas Fair Housing Act
The Texas Fair Housing Act (Texas Property Code, Chapter 301) provides additional protections and is enforced by the Texas Workforce Commission Civil Rights Division. We comply with all requirements of the Texas Fair Housing Act and the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) rules and regulations.
